ABA programs
Programs are individually created for your child. Programs focus on teaching skills in the areas of speech, receptive and expressive language, adaptive functioning, play, academics, and motor skills. In addition, programs focus on improving attention, compliance, and endurance for completing tasks. Aberrant and disruptive repetitive behaviors are targeted for reduction and alternative behaviors are reinforced.
Parent education and training
Parents are provided with psychoeducational materials and hands on training, supervised by a BCBA.
Toilet training
Toilet training occurs in the home and is based on behavior change techniques. Parents, caregivers, family members, and other professionals are trained in how to maintain progress.
Feeding
Behavior based protocols focus on increasing compliance around meal time behavior and food acceptance.
Sleep
A program is created based on your child’s natural sleeping patterns as well as your family’s daily routine.
Speech/language/communication
Language programs include sound production and the ability to engage in basic conversation and intermediate conversation. As children progress in their language, programs focus on the ability to sustain a conversation, understand nonverbal cues, and ask/answer questions.
Academics
The principles of learning are applied to teach basic and abstract academic skills including math, reading, reading comprehension, and writing. Programs focus on fluency of basic concepts as skills are acquired.
